This week’s Japanese sales charts are in via Famitsu and it has been an unimpressive week with all systems down. The Nintendo Switch sold 89,137 units, the PlayStation 4 systems sold 12,388 units, and the Nintendo 3DS systems sold 1,303 units. Dragon Quest IX S remains no.1 but received a huge drop in sales for its third week on the market. While there was a new tax increase applied to videogames it seems that smartphone gaming remains king in Japan. Here’s the best-sellers this week:
