If you were hoping Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity would receive some additional content over time, you might just be in luck. It is a Koei Tecmo Musou after all.
Following on from a story we ran back in October about dataminers potentially uncovering the entire cast of playable characters in the new Hyrule Warriors game, some newly discovered voice lines may also be hinting at what’s to come.
Warning: possible spoilers ahead…
According to Gaming Reinvented, voice lines for “every playable character” in Nintendo’s latest release have been ripped and there appear to be some unused ones. This is either left over content, or it could lead to something more such as DLC or a free update in the future.
The extra voice lines are for Astor, Sooga, Purah and Robbie, and there are also a number of characters calling out to these ones on the battlefield. You can listen here. Noticeably none of these characters were listed in the previous character datamine.
Nintendo hasn’t said anything about DLC just yet. Again, though, this is a Koei Tecmo game we’re talking about, and the original Hyrule Warriors game on Wii U also got a bunch of new playable characters.
