Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt has shared a little bit about its DLC plans for the game.
As part of a call to investors, Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher publishers/developer CD Projekt talked a great deal about the upcoming game. Company executives reiterated that the game’s September release date remains unchanged.
They also revealed that it has already been rated by rating agencies worldwide, after having been recently submitted.
On a call to Polish investors, president Adam Kicinski said that the developer is planning about the same volume of DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 as it did with The Witcher 3, as translated by VGC.
Kicinski also confirmed that, just like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077’s add-ons will be revealed ahead of the game’s launch. The Witcher 3, of course, had a constant stream of free small add-ons, with two major story expansions in Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
It doesn’t sound like Kicinski went into any specifics, but we can at least expect a similar cadence/volume to the one we saw with The Witcher 3.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches September 17 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
