The latest physical video game software and hardware charts are now with us from Japan, thanks to the sales tracking team at Famitsu. It has been a momentous week for Capcom who released the timed-exclusive Monster Hunter Rise for the Nintendo Switch platform. The game shifted 1.3 million physical copies alone and the Nintendo Switch family of systems sold an incredible 267K units. For comparison, Capcom’s last Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter World, shifted 1.5 million at launch on PlayStation 4.
