If you follow the Splatoon scene closely, you might already know how there have been ongoing requests for apartments to be added to the series.
In the trailers and footage of Splatoon 3 so far, players have spotted apartments in the new city ‘Splatsville’ – leading to theories the third entry may finally contain your own personal room with even more customisation options. Now, in a new Squid Research Lab report via Twitter, there’s a reference to apartments, which has seemingly sent Inklings into a frenzy online:
As noted throughout the replies, the original Splatoon for Wii U contained a screen in it showing off an Inkling’s room, which led to requests for apartments. Other fans responding to the same tweet (above), have been quick to point out how the Japanese tweet of this latest Squid Research Lab report apparently makes no mention of the word apartments:
At the very least, this latest series of tweets from the Squid Research Lab shows off the fan favourite Splat Roller weapon:
